“It was an entirely different experience. When I contacted Sobika, she was so excited to be part of the shoot. Since it is a remote shoot and the model was underwater, I needed help and Sobika's sister Riya agreed to assist.
She held the phone in an inverted manner, so the camera was under the water and the other part was above the water. I guided Riya and she conveyed the instructions to Sobika. Since the model cannot be under the water for a long time, we need to be quick while taking pictures," says Edwin.
The only challenge he faced was making Riya understand the technical part of a photoshoot. "A normal person wouldn't know the terms that are used in photoshoots. So, I had to explain everything to Riya and Sobika. After a few trials, we were able to capture perfect images under the water. Like any other virtual shoot, I was on a video call with the duo. I shared the images on social media and the response was overwhelming,” he adds.
