The latest reports said that around 21 people have died in Chennai in the last 12 hours.

The highest toll was reported in Rajiv Gandhi Hospital with 8, 6 from Omanthoorar Govt Hospital, 4 from Stanley Hospital and 3 from Kilpauk Hospital.
Meanwhile, Chennai reported 15,038 active cases. Out of the 82,128 positive Covid-19 cases, 65,748 have recovered.
According to data released by the Greater Chennai Corporation, Kodambakkam zone had the most number of corona positive patients seeking treatment and also suffered from a low recovery rate of 76%.
