Actress Sushmita Sen says her comeback show "Aarya" has reaffirmed her belief that being a mother is all about being a warrior and protecting your family.
"Aarya' has reaffirmed my belief that being a mother is all about being a warrior and protecting your family by all means," Sushmita said.

The show has been reimagined in an animated clip, showing Sushmita in a warrior avatar fighting against her family -- which in a way sums up the story of the show. In the video, actor Sharad Kelkar narrates the story of Aarya as a warrior caught in the biggest dilemma of her life. The music has been composed by Dhruv Ghanekar.

"Aarya carries so much pain, but she internalises it all to fight and save her children against all odds. This reimagined animated video truly brings out the best of 'Aarya' and highlights her journey from being a mother to a warrior," she added.

Sharad said: "Lending my voice to bring alive a creative vision is always a big win for me! The way the story flows, one can literally feel Aarya's burden of making choices. When I was narrating this piece, it almost took my back to my time working on movies like 'Baahubali' - the grandeur and intensity of the narrative. The delivery in this was to be just as powerful and I wanted to make sure I made the same kind of impact with the viewer. This video is going to inspire the warrior within everyone!"

Creator Ram Madhvani added: "The Bhagavad Gita is one of the reasons behind the making of 'Aarya'. It is the value system of where Aarya stands and what helps us through life. Karm and Dharm are concepts and ways of living that we are dealing with everyday. Aarya faces them too, throughout the show and her dilemmas are shown through some of the philosophies of the Bhagavad Gita."

"Aarya" delves into how organised crime and betrayal runs deep in a family. It is about the protagonist Aarya, and how she is pulled into the narcotics business when her family is threatened. The Hotstar Specials show also features Sikander Kher, Namit Das, Jayant Kripalani, Sohaila Kapoor, Sugandha Garg, Maya Sareen, Vishwajeet Pradhan and Manish Chaudhary.

The show is an official adaptation of the popular Dutch crime drama "Penoza".
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has joked about "being at home" over the past one and a half years.
On Friday, Gauri Khan tweeted a picture where she poses with husband Shah Rukh and his wax statue at Paris' wax museum Musée Grévin.

"Two much to handle... @iamsrk #museegrevin," Gauri captioned the picture on her verified Twitter account.

Reacting to the tweet, the superstar wrote: "Aur for the last 1 year and 6 months Dono ghar pe hain (And for the last 1 year and 6 months both of us are at home) …!!!"

Shah Rukh's tweet seems like a gentle jibe at himself, given the fact that he has not done a new film since "Zero" hit the theatres in December 2018.

Commenting on SRK's tweet, fans expressed how much they are missing his films.

"The more of you the merrier. Wished you had doubles all over the world. Every city...Wish you were here more often... Shine ...Love you unconditionally...@iamsrk," tweeted a fan.

"I just love you, Shah. Don't get the full meaning, but a smile of yours tells me the only thing I need to know. Thanks for the tweet. You are as missed as loved. Always. Be well and enjoy life. Wishing you endless reasons to smile like that," shared another fan.
Actor Chunky Pandey is all set to make his debut in the web-space with the season two of the web series "Abhay", as villain of the show.
"This was an exciting role for me and it is my digital debut, too. I have never played anything like this before. My character looks normal, but not when it comes to finding ways to feed his cannibal instinct. Looks can be deceptive!"

"Abhay 2" stars Kunal Kemmu and Ram Kapoor, and Chunky added that the show is set to bring to the forefront ruthless crime stories.

"The entire cast and crew have done an incredible job of putting together a top-notch crime series. It will give you the chills, definitely," he added.

The eight-episode series marks the return of Kunal Kemmu as an investigative officer, who has a knack for solving crimes by thinking like the offender. Directed by Ken Ghosh, the show will premiere on Zee5 on August 14.
